Meet The Band

The Trailer Park Twisters are:

KevinKevin – Lead Vocals and Guitar
Kevin loves country music flat out. He loves the stories, he loves the attitude, and he loves the energy.  After growing up a pop and blues fan, he went down south for college and came back a country fan.  He especially loves Dwight Yoakam and Miranda Lambert.  He’s played with Trunk Monkey, Pure Blue, the Dan Kahn Band, Shannon & the 2 Timers, and the Hot Moms. If you want to book the band, feel free to bug Kevin.

PaulPaul – Lead Guitar & Backing Vocals
Paul grew up in rural town so he had to like country music growing up.  After learning all of the Van Halen riffs he could handle, he found Brian Setzer, Danny Gatton, and Brad Paisley.  Paul has played with Toe Jam, Trunk Monkey, Kick Plate, the Dan Kahn Band, and Shannon & the 2 Timers.  When he’s not playing with the band, he’s the owner of Stonegrove Guitar in La Grange. If you need guitars or music lessons, contact Paul.

DrewDrew – Bass & Backing Vocals
Drew was born in Orland Park, IL and began playing bass at the age of 14.  He also plays double bass and tuba and graduated from Vandercook College of Music in 2008.  He is currently a band and orchestra director at a local high school.  Besides playing in the Trailer Park Twisters, Drew has been in many bands over the past 13 years, including Augmentum, Just the Tip, 7ate9, Morning Would, Johnny Rockstar, Shannon & the 2  Timers, The Toasted Jam, Demised and many more. Drew has been laying the low end so well that we gave him the nickname Chocolate Thunder!

GaryGary – Pedal Steel Guitar & Backing Vocals
Appearing on stages in both the Chicago area and Southern Illinois for over 35 years, Gary is known for his commitment to always finding a place for the pedal steel guitar in any song, no matter what the type of music.  From hard-core country bands, to rock and rockabilly, to acoustic duos and trios, his steel has made its mark.  But Gary says that working with the Trailer Park Twisters — with their wide range of musical influences — has brought out his best playing ever. If you really want to see what Gary is doing on stage, watch his feet and knees and listen for the twang! We call him the Profit!
